What a great experience! They make it so easy with the app. No more having to fax tons of pages of information, just take a photo of the necessary documents and upload them. The app “to do” list keeps your tasks at your fingertips. The staff we dealt with were kind, courteous and extremely knowledgeable. We went from toying with buying a new home to closing in less than 2 months. I will definitely tell our friends about Veterans United.

I trusted Veterans United, especially my loan officer and their team, to help my family and me transition smoothly from Utah to Alabama. I made it clear from the start that delays were not an option—we were moving across states, with hotel and U-Haul costs adding up fast. Unfortunately, that trust was misplaced.Despite my repeated warnings and efforts to stay ahead of deadlines, this process turned into a nightmare. Veterans United missed critical deadlines, which left my family stuck in a hotel, unsure if we’d even have a place to live. I incurred extra costs that could’ve easily been avoided with proper communication and follow-through.Customer service offered no real help. I reached out to the so-called Client Advocate team, hoping someone would step in—but they were no better. No urgency, no accountability. It felt like no one truly cared about the impact these delays had on my family.This experience was exhausting, stressful, and disappointing. I expected better—especially from a company that claims to serve veterans. Sadly, Veterans United almost left my family homeless.

Delays are frustrating in any situation, but when you’re relocating across states, managing hotel costs, a U-Haul, and trying to keep your family out of limbo—it becomes so much more than just a paperwork issue. I can’t imagine how stressful and exhausting this must have been for you, especially when you’d made it clear up front how important timing was.
It’s also disappointing to hear that when you reached out for help, you didn’t feel heard or supported. That’s not what our Client Advocate team is here for, and I’d really like the chance to revisit what happened so we can fully understand where things went wrong.

I don't vouch for a company just to do it. I always considered it putting my name on the line when I do. I don't hand out tens...especially when vets are involved with giving an honest opinion on the company. They were polite / professional + above board in every aspect. Couldn't recommend more.
