I cannot say enough positive things about my experience working with Horace Johnson as my loan officer during the purchase of my brand new home. From the very beginning of the process through closing, Horace was professional, responsive, knowledgeable, and consistently committed to making sure I was informed, comfortable, and confident every step of the way.Buying a home is one of the biggest decisions a person can make, and it can easily become stressful, confusing, or overwhelming without the right people involved. Horace made sure that was never the case for me. He kept me extremely well informed throughout the entire process — not just when something major happened, but during all of the smaller steps in between as well. I always knew where we stood, what was happening next, what was needed from me, and what to expect as we moved forward. That level of communication made a tremendous difference and gave me a lot of confidence throughout the home-buying experience.What stood out the most was how smooth and efficient the entire process was. Horace and the team made no mistakes, stayed on top of every detail, and moved at the exact pace I needed as the buyer. Whenever I wanted things to move quickly, they moved quickly. Whenever I needed information, clarification, or reassurance, I received it. There was never a point where I felt like I was waiting unnecessarily, being left in the dark, or having to chase anyone down for answers. That kind of consistency is rare, and it speaks volumes about Horace’s professionalism and the strength of the team around him.The entire buying team demonstrated qualities that I genuinely associate with the Army values: selfless service, integrity, duty, and respect. They put the buyer first, they did what they said they were going to do, they handled their responsibilities with urgency and precision, and they treated me with respect throughout the entire process. Those values were not just words — they were shown through their actions, communication, attention to detail, and commitment to getting everything done the right way.Horace especially showed a level of dedication that made the experience feel personal, not transactional. He was not just trying to get a loan completed; he was helping me purchase a home. That distinction matters. He took the time to make sure I understood the process, made himself available when I had questions, and handled everything with professionalism and care. I never felt like I was just another file on someone’s desk. I felt like I had a team behind me that truly wanted to see me succeed and close on my home without unnecessary stress or complications.I also greatly appreciated the speed and accuracy of the team. In a process where even small errors can cause delays or create unnecessary problems, Horace and everyone involved performed exceptionally well. Everything was handled correctly, efficiently, and with a clear sense of purpose. They respected my time, understood my goals, and worked with the urgency needed to make the process move forward smoothly.Because of Horace’s communication, professionalism, integrity, and commitment to excellent service, I would absolutely work with him again. In fact, I will work with Horace again in the future if the opportunity presents itself. I would also confidently recommend him to anyone looking for a loan officer who is knowledgeable, dependable, respectful, and genuinely invested in helping buyers through one of the most important financial decisions of their lives.This was an outstanding experience from start to finish. Horace Johnson and the entire team exceeded my expectations, and I am extremely grateful for the role they played in helping me purchase my brand new home. Buying a home can be stressful at times, but my team consistently worked hard to keep everything moving and to make sure I understood each step along the way.I especially want to recognize Andy Harris, Shawna, Hannah, and Christie for their dedication and professionalism. Andy was always responsive and supportive, making sure my questions were answered day or night and helping me stay on track throughout the loan process. Shawna and Hannah were extremely helpful and organized, making the document process smooth and keeping me informed of what was needed. Christie worked diligently behind the scenes to ensure everything met underwriting requirements. Andy made sure that we reached the finish line.What meant the most to me was knowing I had a team advocating for me and working hard to make my homeownership goal a reality. I was not just a number. We started with another lender because of issues with builders proffered lenders and the issues with lenders completely ended. The builders agents tried to create drama but every time we got in touch with Kevin and Jared it was under control and they had the paper trail to support the fact the builder and his agents had manufactured or lied about something and tried ti blame it on our non preferred lender. We leaned on Kevin and Jared and they surpassed expectations.
