Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. Throughout the loan process, we were given information that influenced major financial decisions, only to later be told that the information was incorrect and that we should have known it was incorrect because different information had been provided months earlier. That explanation was frustrating and did not address the fact that we relied on what we were told during the process.What has been most disappointing is the lack of accountability. Rather than acknowledging the impact of the misinformation, we were essentially told that nothing could be done and no effort was made to make the situation right.I chose Veterans United because I expected clear communication and guidance through an important life decision. Unfortunately, that was not my experience, and I cannot say I am satisfied with how our concerns were handled after closing.
The entire experience from start to finish was first class and professional. The team did outstanding work to make sure everything was in place and squared away. Communication was excellent and everything was explained promptly. The follow up was also excellent. The team made it feel as if they personally cared about getting this deal done. To be honest this isn’t the best option at all. Communication is so poor, I mean poor poor. I’m grateful I got my new home thru them but rates are horrible, however I didn’t want to stop my train and jump ship to another lender because I was so far in the process.
