Veterans United held my hand every step of the way, which is exactly what I wanted as a person who has never bought a home before. Any time something was needed from me, it popped up on my dashboard and I got an email about it. The app and website are extremely user friendly, and someone was always available to help me if I needed it.

Web site was very helpful. ToDo lists was helpful to track all necessary required documents.
The only gripe I have is the to dose. I had to keep getting on the portal and there would be to dos. I never knew they were there unless I missed emails or something.

I've always pushed for the "human" factor in finance. Not the the emotional factor. Recognizing the difference between helping and enabling. John and his team seem to have located that algorithm. I was extremely impressed with tolerance, knowledge, willingness to communicate and above all. The human approach that was administered. I have nothing but praise for process there at VU. I would recommend Veterans United one thousand percent and then some. They were so communicative throughout the entire process. Never once did I feel as though I did not understand what was happening or lost. Any questions that I did have, they answered and were extremely patient. The entire VU team was professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. It made me feel as though this was not my first time buying a home because it felt so natural.
