Arlem Serrano talked down to me was rude. Nathan Corley was somewhat helpful but had his rude moments. Casey Cowert didn't understand what was going on....acted like we were doing a VA loan and we couldn't on the home. The attorney felt the same VU was hard to work with. It was not memorable experience and I am SO GLAD ITS OVER!!

Veterans United experience all in all was great. Their implementation of their own app where you can upload documents, track the progression of your underwriting process is phenomenal! We were pleasantly surprised that we could always count on a quick call back if we had any questions to ask and we got to speak with an actual person. The ease of getting all of the important information for the upcoming move like utilities phone numbers etc was awesome. The only time my husband and I felt a little disappointed was when the team failed to get documents ready for closing because they either missed an email from our realtor or misunderstood it. The closing date ended up moving by 24 hours. At the end of the day, it wasn’t as big of a deal, but we did have to scramble and cancel and reschedule certain furniture deliveries and other vendors like internet etc. All in all, my husband and I were happy with the outcome. We did close on our dream house and Veterans United absolutely played a huge role .

I don't know how I got connected to Veterans United Home Loans, but Derek Russell was right there to walk me through the process and answer all my questions. Except for the interest rate being a little higher than i like, the whole process was quick and easy. Being a Veteran I appreciate the care that was shown. I would recommend Veterans United Home Loans.
