This was a very intense process. Veterans United met my needs, but I haven't heard from anyone since I closed. I called last week to inquire about my payment schedule because it was not included in my paperwork. Luckily, a woman from the Settlement company called me this morning and confirmed that the information was missing from my file and that I should call someone from Veterans United. My rating would have been a 10 if there had been some follow-up.

If you are not tech suave, grab a trusted friend and get help negotiating all the forms by Veterans United and the affiliates.

Our original experience with VU was exceptional. We felt the refinance started out the same way, but kind of fell off. We were originally told our loan would close in 10 days, we finally closed with only days to spare.
Communication during the refinance was not as dynamic as before. We just felt "forgtte" once the process began, maybe we just fell through the cracks.

When you’re told things should move quickly and then the timeline stretches with quieter communication, it’s easy to feel like you slipped through the cracks. The experience was flawless. The team did an outstanding job in getting me everything that I needed and everything I needed to be prepared for. I was a first time home Buyer and the team that I worked with was always willing to help. Even when I reached out to them after buisness hours they always called me back first thing in the morning and answered the 8 thousand questions that I had. My husband, the Veteran, and me had the best experience with our Loan Officer, Jerry Landrey and his Loan Coordinator, Grace Walther!! They were both so professional and gave easy instructions on all forms needed, by giving us a checklist. They were great at answering any questions that we had. The whole process was a joy because these two were fantastic!!! I will definitely refer VU to other veterans!!! And I will recommend Jerry and Grace to them!!! I give them a grade of A++.
