Emily, Anthony, and the rest of my Team went beyond their scope of duties to get us across the finish line to get us approved so we could refinance hour home loan to a lower mortgage payment.

I appreciate the straightforward and professional support I received from the team during my recent home purchase. I especially appreciate their integrity in recommending a 30-year fixed loan structure; they took the time to explain how this would provide financial flexibility while still allowing me the option to pay extra toward the principal—a benefit others might not have highlighted. The communication throughout the process was excellent. I would highly recommend their services to fellow veterans who value transparency and efficiency.

First off, VU with Kendall worked with me to keep a quote open until we could find a place for us. It took 10 months. Kendall texted every month or more, kind of irritating, him rubbing it in I didn't have a house yet. However, the commitment was obviously there. Once we did have a place we were in contract with, Kendall and Adrienne and Candace worked with us to get it through smoothly, better than was expected. Thank you to you all!

Veterans United Home Loans staff and loan officers professional, expertise and clarity of communication throughout the loan process was incredible. This made a stressful time easy and smooth.Staff care and support their clients and we’re quick to answer any questions we had during the loan process. The overall experience was outstanding, and we closed in less than 30 days.

Justin, Jordan and Brianna did a fantastic job!

The team I worked with were very responsive to my needs and calls. They went above and beyond to help me with any and all questions. They were very professional.

I would have preferred the entire TO DO list up front instead of piece meaning it. Everything was good though.

I did not get as many updates as I would have liked.

Justin was awesome and went above and beyond in my home buying experience. Excellent customer service and very knowledgeable about the home buying process..

First off, in no way do I blame my original loan officer, she went on maternity leave which I whole heartedly support. Unfortunately though, our new handler was not a loan officer and so seemed ill prepared for the remainder of the tasks. We also dealt with an additional FOUR other agents, all of which demonstrated an inability to come up to speed on current status/checkpoints and lack of knowledge regarding my file and answers to questions regarding the loan process. (One agent stated this was my first VA loan, which it was not).
Response from Veterans United
Hi Joshua,
Thank you for sharing your experience. It means a lot that you recognized your original loan officer's efforts, and I appreciate your understanding regarding her maternity leave. At the same time, I'm sorry the transition didn't feel seamless and that you found yourself working with multiple team members throughout the process.
I can understand how frustrating it would be to repeatedly explain your situation, receive inconsistent information, or feel like those assisting you weren't fully familiar with your loan file. Having confidence that your questions are being answered accurately is an important part of the homebuying experience, and I'm sorry we fell short of the level of communication and continuity you expected.
I'd like the opportunity to learn more about your experience and review the concerns you've raised. If you're willing, please reach out to me at 1-800-212-5200 or ClientAdvocate@vu.com. The Client Advocate team is available Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Central Time, and messages received outside those hours are typically returned the next business day.
Sincerely,
Claire S., Client Relations Manager

As always the whole team were professional. I’ve never had a problem with any of the paperwork or “to dos”. Always an easy process. Thank you for all your help and support
