I'm easily stressed out when it comes to big financial commitments and was terrified of what the process would be when getting a home loan along with getting a home itself. After having communicated with the Veterans United staff, it was like a weight off my shoulders and made the process FAR easier than I could have imagined. They were always on top of things, made sure the to-do list was always update, worked incredibly fast, and ultimately accommodating to all my needs. As a first time home buyer, I went through a rollercoaster of emotions throughout this process. Lance Hopper and his team went out of their way to make sure I knew what to expect through the process. I even had a family emergency during this process that put things on pause. The first thing that Lance said to me was take care of family and we'll still be here. Throughout this process, I did not just feel like another number with Veterans United. As a Marine, I have always had a mentality of "get things done"....but with Veterans United, they made sure I was prepared for the whole process.
I can honestly say I appreciate the work that VA Home Loans did for me and my husband and in such a short time I mean, they pretty much performed the miracle. I went into this the middle to the end of May and by the end of June I was in my new home. So very thankful.
