Overall, I recommend Veterans United 1000%. If you are shopping for a home loan or refi, then stop shopping and contact Veterans United FIRST. They treated me with the utmost respect and care. They were there for me every step of the way. And they will do the same for you! You are not just a number to them, you are an important customer that they want to serve. My loan officer, Brittany, and loan coordinator were extremely communicative and answered my million questions with patience and kindness. They helped me each step of the way and made sure I had all of the answers I needed. You will not go wrong if you choose Veterans United.

Unfortunately the ball was dropped more than once for my buyer and even when the team lead took over, the communication was less than satisfactory. The day before and days of closing - we were unable to get any responses from Dylan Schatz nor Lani, the team lead.

We were asked to furnish documents 4 times. The whole process was abusive. We closed the loan and the next day we paid it off. We will not ever use them again.

I can understand how being asked for documents multiple times would make the experience feel stressful, especially during something as important as closing on a home loan. That’s not the kind of experience I want anyone to walk away with.

While there are times additional documentation is needed throughout underwriting, I understand that repeated requests can feel overwhelming and disappointing. I also regret that we left you feeling unsupported enough to pay off the loan immediately after closing.
