I still am in awe of how smooth the process was through VA United. I couldn't have had a better team working with me! I really did not know what to expect and feel as I got blindsided with emotions. The reassurance and constant communication from the beginning eased most of that tension. Once the process started moving along I got more confident in my choice. I was a bit skeptical of some work history, health related related situations on my end that would have impacted negatively - which did not be the case in the end. Having a chance to not only obtain permanent housing for myself, I did with the hardwork accomplished to get there. I hope every Veteran that is serious about owning a home get the chance to do so. Our refinance experience with Veterans United was exceptional. Kris, our loan officer, demonstrated consistent patience and transparency, and successfully guided us through approval despite my husband’s high DTI ratio. He remained attentive throughout the process, even notifying us personally when the funds were wired to the title company. Alexis, the loan coordinator, provided excellent support by ensuring all documentation requirements were met promptly. The level of service delivered by the entire Veterans United team far exceeded that of our previous lender, Bank of America, with whom we initially had a very poor experience.
