I found myself unexpectedly a few weeks shy of being unhoused. The area offered virtually no immediate opportunities, and I didn't even know where to start navigating the system. The team at Vetran United guided me through the process step by step, provided me a list of actions I could take independently and quickly. They even explained some basic principles of economics I found perplexing- any knowledge gap can lead to terror when you are set a course for your future. The process is much more involved than it was when I last bought a house 16 years ago, to the point of almost being mentally & emotionally exhausting (however, as was said in the John Ford movie, The Quiet Man, “the proprieties must be met”). Had we been working with any other group of people it would have been excruciating; however, Cole, Travis, Kat, & Monica were absolutely fantastic! It was as if we were being led, hand-in-hand, in total darkness, through a massive wasteland, filled with a myriad of insurmountable obstacles, by a calm, confident, reassuring and highly dedicated team of professionals who knew exactly what to do and where to turn every step of the way. When we reached the other side (all requirements for closing accomplished) I felt as though they had rescued us (my wife & me) from the likes of a Mad Max or Book of Eli movie! I would (and will) recommend Veterans United to any & all I encounter who are home shopping. We are ABSOLUTELY ECSTATIC about what Cole’s wonderful team so smoothly & efficiently accomplished for us; they made our dream home a reality!!!
