Very professional. Even tho we all understand that it was a business transaction. It felt so family based. From the initial conversation to the last text messages we were treated with respect.
Being in a stressful situation and not understanding the underwriting process nor having any knowledge on what I should ask to get answers to my questions made it difficult to feel in the loop. All the staff was patient and very helpful, but a guide on what exactly you have to break down and figure out the numbers would have made the situation easier to handle. I know I was not the most polite person during this process and I apologize for that.
The entire experience with Veterans United wasn't like a loan officer and loan specialist, it felt like friends helping each other. Look, for us veterans being genuine is huge. We can sniff it out when you aren't, and the entire team was rock solid genuine. I never had hesitation about anything. We finally did it! As with my original loan experience, this refinance was near effortless on my part. My team kept kept me in the loop and the document signing was a smooth effective experience. As with the original signing, I was out of town a mobile notary was required and set up by the team. All went well. Couldn't ask for better service. Shane and his team were awesome.
