Very easy process to navigate.

The entire home buying experience was professional, efficient and effortless. The Veterans United representatives were very courteous and patient as well as knowledgeable and respectful. I will most certainly recommend Veterans United to all of my military comrades.

It was super quick and easy. They really know their stuff. Super informative on everytbing and throughout the whole process. There are also a lot of good information about the homebuying process, pre and post as well. They have a lot of good resources and I would highly recommend Veteran's United. I will definitely be coming back when I want to buy another house.

The team did an amazing job preparing my packet for closure. They stayed on top of what I needed for the underwriting. They contacted me through multiple platforms to ensure timely response.

Buying a home can be overwhelming but, Veterans United made it feel like a partnership. From day one, my team was professional, patient, and incredibly supportive. They explained every step clearly, answered all my questions, and never made me feel rushed or uncertain.
What impressed me most was their genuine care. They weren’t just helping me buy a house, they were helping me build a future. Their respect for veterans and commitment to service shines through in everything they do.
If you’re looking for a home buying experience that’s smooth, respectful, and empowering, I wholeheartedly recommend Veterans United. They go above and beyond and I’m grateful for every moment of the journey.

There were numerous situations where my “team” was impossible to get in contact with taking over a day to respond or get info the was extremely time sensitive. I would never get updates unless I was constantly reaching out. I was told we looked good to close for multiple weeks until 3 days before our closing date I get told that “ Oh the appraisal hasn’t come back yet so we don’t think we can make the date” which resulted in the deal nearly falling apart. The only time that there seemed to be real effort put in was when I went and talked to another lender and threatened to go with them because they were responsive. Lastly the day of our closing my loan officer never sent the wire info and let us just walk into closing looking like idiots. Some of this I realize isn’t 100% Veterans United but they never did any of the things experienced professionals would do like making sure everything is on track.
Response from Veterans United
Hey Chandler,
I’m really sorry to hear how stressful your homebuying experience turned out to be. You deserved clear communication and timely updates every step of the way, and I can understand how frustrating it was to feel like you had to chase down information or deal with surprises so close to closing.
What you described isn’t the experience we want for our borrowers. The final days before closing are already busy enough, and delays with the appraisal or last-minute details can add a lot of pressure. I appreciate you sharing this feedback so we can take a closer look and learn from it.
If you’re open to it, I’d like our Client Advocate team to review your loan file and see what happened. You can reach us at 1-800-212-5200 or ClientAdvocate@vu.com, we’re available Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Central Time.
Veterans United Home Loans transformed my home-buying dream into reality! Their unparalleled expertise, lightning-fast approvals, unbeatable rates, and personalized care made the process effortless and exhilarating. Truly the gold standard for veterans absolute legends! Jeremy Arnold and his team are who I recommend if you want a silky smooth personal experience tailored to your needs. That team treats you as a human and not another collected loan. Jeremy Arnold didn't just sell me a house, he handed me a life upgrade. Knew every inch of the neighborhood like his backyard, fought tooth and nail for the best deal, and never once made me feel rushed. Even as something as random as on a sunday night nine PM sharp he's still texting back like it's nothing, walking me through escrow like I'm his only client. Unreal energy, unreal guy. If they had ten stars, I'd give twenty. Promote this man yesterday.

It was a wonderful experience overall. Couldn’t have been happier with the entire team.

Matt was great to work with. Everything was taken care of for us in a very professional manner.
Thank you 1000 times over.

We setup to downsize and use the funds we received from the sale of our house to pay for the purchase of our new home. However we ended up with a loan for our new home and ended up being loosing money. We sold our house for $514,900.00 and purchasing our new home for $480,000.00. You ended up setting us up with a loan for the new home and putting around $470,000.00 into our checking account. There is a difference of around $44,000.00. This leaves us loosing money in order to downsize to a home that we thought we would have paid off with the sale of our home.

Response from Veterans United
Hi Eldora,
I’m sorry to hear about the confusion surrounding the proceeds from your home sale and the loan on your new home. I know how stressful it can feel when the numbers don’t seem to add up the way you expected. My goal is to help make sure you have a clear understanding of how everything came together at closing.
Because each transaction can involve several moving parts — from the timing of funds to the coordination between sale and purchase — I’d really like my team to review your file with you directly so we can walk through the details together. Please reach out to us at 1-800-212-5200 or email us at ClientAdvocate@vu.com. We’re in the office Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Central Time.

Way too many points of contact...not good follow thru nor follow up. Several documents were faxed to my team from my bank and my financial advisor that no one seemed to locate.

Hey Darold,
I’m really sorry to hear about the confusion and frustration you experienced during your loan process. Having too many points of contact and documents going missing would be discouraging for anyone, and that’s not the kind of experience we want our borrowers to have.
I appreciate you sharing this feedback — it helps us identify where communication broke down and how we can do better for future Veterans and their families. I’d like to learn more about what happened so we can review the details and make sure your concerns are addressed.
When you have a moment, please reach out to our Client Advocate team at 1-800-212-5200 or ClientAdvocate@vu.com. Our team is available Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Central Time.
