With the VU team there is very little that you have to do. You are kept informed and actively notified of all things requiring your review or approval.
The whole team was easy to work with, explained in detail specifics and answered all questions promptly

Honestly, the loan officer was not truthful upfront. Even when first contacted the staff became aggressive, and later into the ordeal I surmised he was bamboozling me about interest rate, which I was adamant I didn't want to buy ! I verbalized I was just to buy the home outright with cash, which was met with more salesman tactics. It was round & round of garbage about V.A rates changing everyday & when I spoke with other loan officer I was told the rates were at the rate 5.25 without buying points! But all I got from your agent was locked it in , never mentioning $7000 charge was not in my interest , and I surmised after seeing my bank statement, I felt targeted as if to loan sharking. That loan officer never answered the last e-mail on all my concerns about unfair lending with VU and all my concerns when I saw estimate went from 23, 000 to $29,000 ...fraud.
The whole interaction w my loan officer & VU personnel stressed me out! I really don't have anything positive to say about my experiences with VU and will have my concerns addressed further.

I started working with Ross Mclanahan and his team at Veterans United about 3 years ago and just couldn’t find the right home. They helped me navigate through 4 different choices in just the last 6 months. They were always available, and when they couldn’t take my calls they would call me back within 15-30 minutes during business hours. Oftentimes they would stay late to assist me. When I got frustrated they maintained professionalism and went above and beyond. My Veterans United loan officer Greg went above and beyond the call of duty to assist me with the purchase of my new home. Immediately after applying for the loan, Greg reached out within 5 minutes and I was preapproved within 15. I realized his exceptional, meritorious service when he returned all calls as promised. He made countless calls to my finance company, insurance company, etc often holding in queque for an hour or more at times and continued to return calls each and every time as promised. He distinguished himself as an extremely skilled and accomplished professional. He continued to make contact with all necessary agencies until the promised closing date was met, which in my mind was record time of only 3 weeks. Because of Greg I will tell anyone looking to purchase a home with a quality loan company to look no further than Veterans United.
