Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. Throughout the loan process, we were given information that influenced major financial decisions, only to later be told that the information was incorrect and that we should have known it was incorrect because different information had been provided months earlier. That explanation was frustrating and did not address the fact that we relied on what we were told during the process. What has been most disappointing is the lack of accountability. Rather than acknowledging the impact of the misinformation, we were essentially told that nothing could be done and no effort was made to make the situation right.I chose Veterans United because I expected clear communication and guidance through an important life decision. Unfortunately, that was not my experience, and I cannot say I am satisfied with how our concerns were handled after closing.

Very professional people who went out of their way to help me through the mortgage and lending process.
A big thanks to both Brian and Chris.

The entire team was amazing. I help completely safe and in good hands during the entire process. Please give Shane a raise. He went above and beyond his duty to help me. He even gave me his personal cell phone number and told me I could call anytime. I have already started recommending your company to a fellow veteran

Thanks Kendal

Everything was very easy and smooth. I greatly appreciate the help the team gave me.

Billy jones, you are the best there is in the Mortgage Industry, you are knowledgable and efficient , thank you for job well done.

Experience first-hand why 372,644 homeowners give us a perfect score!
Veterans United made first time home buying incredibly easy. Mason, Ryan, Christy, Michel thank you all so much for all your help. You guys were amazing and I truly appreciate the house warming/marriage gift. Would recommend to any one in the market for a home.

My loan officer Scott Davis was the definition of professional. It was a long road for us to find a home that we wanted and go through the purchase process but Scott hung in there with us through all of it to help us achieve our dream of home ownership. I will absolutely be recommending Scott and Veteran's United to everyone who is even thinking or buying!

I'm very grateful to have Chace Tuck and his team, they did a great job. Chace personally very pleasant, has tremendous communication skills and a masterful grasp specifically with my VA Home Loan.

The easiest way to buy is to go through veterans united.

Poor overall experience. Way too many people involved, main person I was dealing with was on a plane during closing. Was promised 600-800 dollars at time of closing, but instead they ended up *trying* to bill me like $150 at time of closing. Also sent me a lot of HUD’s with incorrect numbers. I will not be recommending this lender to any of my veteran friends at all. I wish I would’ve used a different company.
Response from Veterans United
Hi Noah,
Thank you for sharing your feedback. I'm sorry to hear your experience didn't meet your expectations. I understand how frustrating it can be to work with multiple people throughout the loan process, especially during a critical time like closing.
I'm also sorry to hear about the confusion surrounding the closing figures and the concerns you had regarding the costs presented to you. Clear communication and accurate information are important, and I can understand why this experience left you disappointed.
I'd like the opportunity to learn more about what happened. Please contact me at 1-800-212-5200 or ClientAdvocate@vu.com. The Client Advocate team is available Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Central Time, and messages received outside those hours are typically returned the next business day.
