Underwriter was still asking for documents the day before closing because they could not follow directions or read the notes on the loan. First loan team had to get fired because they went AWOL and would not respond to anything. Had to pester loan officer for a closing amount to make the transfer. Giving a closing amount 24hrs prior to closing is unacceptable as most banks can take 1-3 days to complete a wire transfer. Additionally, the loan officer was not responsive until the final hour when we were close to closing and they realized everything was teetering on the edge.I had none of these issues when using homestar on my last home. It added a ton of uncertainty and extra stress to the process. I will tell everyone i know getting a VA loan to run away from VU.

Everything was great. The app takes all of the guesswork out of the necessary steps and paperwork.
Veterans united was recommended to me from a friend. We were sitting next to each other at work and I mentioned that I was looking to buy a house soon and wasn’t sure where to start.
