Was pretty good over all. Veterans insurance not so good. Was literally told that to get homeowners insurance I had to move my auto insurance too. Then when I informed the guy that I had already secured home owners insurance quotes and let him know how much my new premium would be, he said he could not beat that premium. I decided to let him check on auto insurance rates for me and he gave me the same monthly amount that I had already been quoted directly from progressive but wanted $150.00 more down to start the coverage that what I had been quoted directly from progressive. Between those two things I was left with a bad impression of Veterans United insurance. Everything else with Veterans United went great.

VU was the best decision I made in doing the va loan. Everyone at VU helped and answered all my questions. A very happy experience

I was completely blown away by the level of customer service. Simply astonished. I look forward to doing more business with Veterans United doing mortgages as well as insurance. If I had the money to buy another home I would absolutely do it right now and give you guys a call! Thank you so very much for a very positive and wonderful first time home buyer experience!!

Jodi and her team were phenomenal. They were all professional and kept me informed along the journey. It was such a pleasure, and we closed remarkably early because of their diligence, professionalism, and hard work. Of course, I would recommend Veteran United. Thank you!

Personally I had a great team. It was not easy for me. I hate computers. Any time I needed help they was always there to guide me. I told them I wanted to close before it snows. They got it done. What a team. It took a lot of patience. I checked them out with the bbb. They have high ratings. I can see why. If you want a great team I recommend team Kendall from Missouri. Thanks for all you guys and gals did. I am happy as I could ever be. I'm ready for mortgage payments instead of paying someone else.

Listen. If you are serious about owning a home, Veterans United is definitely a preferred option, in my opinion. The steps it took to purchasing our home was frustrating to say the least. In my wife and I case, we were purchasing from our landlord, so a realtor wasn't necessary. However, gathering the necessary documents, coordinating with the different agencies like appraisals, home inspections, insurance, title company, and loads of paperwork, signatures, and questions are still very much a part of the process. Our team, Nick Holman, Courtney Gully, Francie Greene, and the rest of their supporting members were there from the first phone until the closing on our home. They fielded every question, listened to all of our frustration, guided us through the whole process step by step, and we're encouraging, patient, professional, and, most of all, very polite, friendly, and engaging whenever we were in contact with them. I mean they kept in touch by phone, text, and email. Even sent us mail. Who does that in this technology age? Seriously, they were the best team my wife and I could ask for in communicating with us and our landlord to make this dream a reality!! I highly recommend Veterans United to anyone who’s reading this review, or anyone who asks is this company for real. To our team, Nick Holman, Courney Gully, Francie Greene, and their supporting team members, thank you for everything! We can't say thank you enough. My wife, Valencia Long, and I now own our home!!!

At closing I was provide at least 3 different loan close out forms - all have different amounts to have a cashier check ready for the title company. When I did arrive for final closing none of these amounts were correct, requiring the title company to issue me a check for the balance due back to me. They then had to settle with Veterans United/and mortgage company. It would seen to me that they should be able to be more accurate with this. To me it shows a lack of attention to detail.
Response from Veterans United
Hi Todd,
I’m sorry for the confusion you experienced at closing. I know how frustrating it must have been to prepare for one amount only to learn that the final figure had changed. Accuracy and clear communication are incredibly important, especially at that stage of the process, and I can understand why this felt disappointing.
I’d really like my people to take a closer look at what happened so we can see where things may have gone wrong and how to prevent similar issues in the future.
